The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) at Texarkana College will host a “Day of the Dead” event from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Truman Arnold Center on the Texarkana College campus. Presenters from local universities and colleges will be available, and activities will include a folklore dance, face painting, music, authentic Mexican food, costumes, and karaoke. The purpose of this free event is to bring awareness of the Hispanic culture, music, art, dance, and food to the community. All proceeds earned will bene t the EOC Scholarship fund.
