The Friends of the Foundation of CHRISTUS St. Michael Foundation will present the Great Texarkana Duck Race at Holiday Springs Water Park, beginning at 10 a.m. Ducks will race their way around the “River Rapids” Lazy River with winners for five prizes announced after the race. The top duck prize will be a 2018 Kia Forte LX from Classic Kia. Second place prize is a $1,000 gift card from Dillard’s. Third place prize is a $1,000 gift certificate from Holiday Cleaners; fourth place prize is a $500 gift card from Super 1 Foods; and fifth place prize is a 65 Tundra Yeti Cooler from Ledwell Machinery. Ducks can be adopted for a donation of $5 each, or if you adopt five ducks, you will receive a sixth duck free for a donation of $25. Call Duck Central at 903-614-7223 for more information.
