The Gladys Morriss Stone Soup luncheon will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Cabe Center, First United Methodist Church, located at 400 E. 6th Street in Texarkana, Arkansas. The dine-in or take out lunch includes salad, taco soup, Texas toast, dessert and a drink for $10 per person. A bake sale is included in the event. Proceeds will benefit these Auxiliary projects: Boys & Girls Club, Center of Hope Shelter and Playground, Angel Tree, summer camp for local children, and school supplies for children. Tickets are available from any Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary member or the Salvation Army office by calling 870-774-7201.
