The Texas High School “Tiger Marching Band” was selected and invited to march in the Presidential Inaugural Parade in Washington D.C. on January 20th, 2025. Though the parade was cancelled, Texas High School Tiger band did get to perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Fort McHenry in Baltimore, Maryland. The tune was composed in 1814 by its composer, Francis Scott Key, in the very area where the students were playing.
