Wes Bennett
/age: 34 | Owner | Powerhaul Movers
The owner of Powerhaul Movers, Wes Bennett is committed to providing excellent customer service for those who want to make sure their belongings are protected during a move. Whether moving furniture or personal items from home-to-home, Wes enjoys meeting his customers and helping them relocate here in Texarkana or in another town. Wes knows that making a major move can be very stressful for his clients, so he does his best to lighten the load (literally) for those who entrust their moving needs to him and his team.
Leaving a good job that he didn’t love to begin his own business with nothing more than an idea is Wes’ greatest professional achievement. “I received my first moving job off of a Craig’s list ad,” he recalls. “Things just grew from there, and I have never regretted it for a second.”
Lifting weights, hunting, and spending time with his family are some of Wes’ favorite pastimes. He admits that he is very proud of his family: wife, Kaci, and daughters, Hadley (5 years old) and Grace (1.5 years old). They are members of Trinity Baptist Church where Wes serves as part of the security team. Helping out those in need has been a part of Wes’ ministry of helping others as he has provided pro bono moves for people who needed some assistance at the time.
When asked where Wes sees himself in 10 years, he admits that he and his family will still reside in Texarkana but hope to expand Powerhaul Movers into other cities, as well.
Best piece of advice:
“Get in there, and get a mess!” – Greg Bennett, Wes’ father
Name something about you that very few people know:
“I am bald by choice. What started as a dare in college has become my preferred hairstyle for the past 15 years.”
