TXK Arkansas Appoints Interim Chief of Police

On Friday August 22nd, City Manager Jay Ellington appointed Assistant Chief Bobby Jordan as the Interim Chief of Police for the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department. 

Over thirty applicants have applied for the future TAPD Chief of Police position, and the city has begun evaluating the applicants to move forward with the interview process. The city plans to appoint a full-time chief of police within the next ninety days.
