Veteran's Day Parade Set For November 12

On Saturday, November 12, 2022, the Texarkana Area Veterans Council (TAVC) will be hosting our annual Veterans Day Parade. It will begin at 11 a.m. at East Broad & Hazels Streets and follow the regular parade route. The theme this year is: "Honoring the Medal of Honor & Purple Heart Recipients"

We would like to invite you and your band/civic group/business to participate in this parade to honor veterans and show your support for those serving now. We want to make this the biggest Veterans Day parade in recent history and hope you can be a part of it!  Line up begins at 9:30 a.m.                                                  

We will be awarding 1st & 2nd place trophies for each category.
