Hunting Knife Course to be Held at the James Black School of Bladesmithing and Historic Trades

The James Black School of Bladesmithing and Historic Trades will hold a hunting knife course from January 19 through January 22 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In this course, students will demonstrate the skills to forge a basic blade and assemble the handle in a hidden tang technique. Students will learn the various hunting knife designs and proportions. Students will also learn steel types, heat treating, and sharpening techniques.
The cost for the course is $525. The instructor for the course is Ricardo Vilar.
