A World for Children
/Painting with a Twist in Texarkana and A World for Children collaborated during a fundraising party on April 24 to raise funds to sponsor programs for Texas foster children placed in homes in our community and surrounding towns. Over 30 participants took part in the event so local foster children can participate in the “A World for Children” experience which simply means a life as normal as anyone else’s with summer camp, vacations, new backpacks and shoes, and toys at Christmas. Snacks were served, and prizes were given away.
