Caddo Area Council hosts Learning to Lead Seminar

The Caddo Area Council hosted its second installment of Learning to Lead during a daylong Learning for Life and Exploring Seminar at Texas A&M University-Texarkana on January 17. The Learning to Lead Transformational Experience was attended by 110 sixth grade students from College Hill Middle School, Pleasant Grove Middle School, Red Lick Middle School and Morris Upchurch Middle School. Author, inventor and magician, Giovanni Livera, led this dynamic program based on his book “Live a Thousand Years.”

Community leaders helped facilitate the leadership breakout sessions where students could explore their own talents and passions to help guide them to future careers and become leaders both in their schools and communities. This program was sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America, Farmers Bank and Trust, and Cooper Tire and Rubber.
