Carnival Under the Stars
/The eighth annual Carnival Under the Stars, hosted by Circle of Friends, Texarkana USA Chapter, was recently held in the Fine Arts Building at the Four States Fairgrounds. During each annual event, a family member of an Arkansas Children’s Hospital patient is asked to serve as the ambassador and share their personal experiences about receiving care at the health care facility. This year, Harlene McMillon, grandmother of Skylar McMillon, spoke about the wonderful care he received after being diagnosed with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) at birth. Texarkana is one of 12 Circle of Friends chapters around the state of Arkansas that supports Arkansas Children’s.
