The Texarkana Chamber of Commerce held its Annual Celebration, “Evening with the Stars,” on January 24 at the Arkansas Convention Center. Last year’s C.E. Palmer Award recipient, Cary Patterson, presented this year’s prestigious award to Sonja Yates Hubbard. The 2019 Ambassador of the Year Award was presented to Barbara Walker. This 115th annual meeting was held for Chamber members to reflect on the previous year as they look forward to the future. Platinum sponsors for the event were Texarkana College, Cooper Tires, Norton & Wood, and Farmers Bank & Trust.
