An estimated 10,000 yellow ducks were adopted for The Great Texarkana Duck Race held August 17 at Holiday Springs Water Park. The event raised funds to benefit cardiovascular services at the CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System.

First place winner, P. Armando Sanchez, Jr., took home the 2019 Kia Rio LX from Classic Kia Gregg Orr Auto; second place winner, James Smith, won a $1,000 gift card from Dillard’s; third place winner, Marilyn White, won a $1,000 gift certificate from Holiday Cleaners; fourth place winner, Jacqueline Finley, took home a $1,000 gift certificate from Classic Car Wash; F.A. Stover won the fifth place prize, a $500 gift card from Super 1 Foods.
