Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital Welcomes CRRNS
/Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital welcomed four new members to its CRRN team during a Special Celebration Dinner on August 1. Gail Spicer, Tyler Rainey, Sheena Cantley and Carrie Savage recently joined the team of 19 CRRNs who are employed at Encompass Health of Texarkana.
Certified Rehabilitation Register Nurse is a specialized certification available to nurses with two years or more of rehabilitation experience. Encompass provides the opportunity for staff to attend additional training and certification to enhance their scope of practice in the field of rehabilitation. Its hospital provides disease specific education in stroke, hip fracture, cardiac and amputation. Two nurses will be selected this year to attend the ARN conference in Columbus, Ohio, this November.
