An Exploring Impact Luncheon was held on September 11 at CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System. Former CHRISTUS CEO Chris Karam welcomed 65 guests which included community and business leaders, area school superintendents, along with college and university administrators. Local Learning for Life and Exploring Director Linda Willis expressed that Texarkana College and TAMU-T are anxious to start STEM posts and already have their advisors and committee members in place.
Caddo Area Council Executive Board member Treva West emceed the luncheon. NASA Astronaut Greg Johnson, Director of Strategic Partnerships and Innovation/BSA, was the keynote speaker for the event. Drew Glassford, Sr. Director of Strategic Initiatives/ BSA National Foundation, was also a guest for this special event.
