Texarkana Rotary Clubs Host Rotary Foundation Dinner
/ Kim McMurryRotary International’s four Texarkana Rotary Clubs hosted a Rotary Foundation Dinner on February 23 at Northridge Country Club. The event was held to benefit the eradication of polio worldwide.
Keynote speaker was Ann Lee Hussey from South Berwick, Maine, a polio survivor. She has made it her life’s work to help alleviate the suffering of polio survivors and is part of the efforts to eradicate polio. She has shared her story and passion hundreds of times throughout the Rotary world and beyond, raising money, and creating new converts to the fight.
