Greater Texarkana Young Professionals host Facebook Fundraising Competition
/The Greater Texarkana Young Professionals recently raised over $5,000 during a Facebook Fundraising Competition among members in an effort to encourage donations to local nonprofits during difficult times due to COVID-19. Megan Roberts raised the most money at $1,300. Her prize was a custom fire pit from a generous donor to acknowledge her efforts in raising the most money individually. Donations were given to the following local nonprofits: Randy Sams’ Outreach Shelter, Inc., Opportunities, Inc., Texarkana Symphony Orchestra, Northeast Texas CASA, and Harvest Regional Food Bank.
