Texarkana Children’s Advocacy Center, CASA and the Women of Hope and Courage Valentine Luncheon
/On February 13, Texarkana Children’s Advocacy Center, CASA and the Women of Hope and Courage hosted their annual Valentine Luncheon at the home of LaWanda Rich. Themed “For the Love of a Child,” the event celebrated how much the members’ support in 2019 has helped change the lives and heart of the community’s most vulnerable children. Last year, $31,555 was raised for advocacy services; 1,155 children received advocacy services; and 1,556 snacks were provided to children and caregivers.
