On April 17, the Junior League of Texarkana 2018 New Member Class presented a check to Harvest Regional Food Bank for its Open Hearts Food Pantry. The pantry will serve 60 middle school students from Texas Middle School, Liberty-Eylau Middle School,North Heights Junior High School, and College Hill Middle School.
Each campus has a site coordinator who will distribute the food weekly, on Fridays.

There will be enough food for each student to eat over the weekend. The New Member Class has raised close to $7,000 to fund the project.
