On September 15, members of the community participated in the Doris K. James Memorial Over the Edge for Alzheimer’s Alliance Tri-State Area presented by Patterson Dental Center. Participants rappeled 60 feet down the side of the University Center on the Texas A&M University- Texarkana campus. Supporters of all ages were encouraged to raise a minimum of $1,000 through donations from friends, family, and coworkers to be able to rappel. Proceeds are used locally for the Alzheimer’s Alliance and Our Place Day Respite Center.
