Junior League of Texarkana Awards Teacher Take Wing Grants
/The Junior League of Texarkana awarded close to $15,000 to 39 local teachers on November 5 as part of its Teacher Take Wing Program. Since the program began as early as 1990, the JLT has given approximately $250,000 to teachers. is project provides grants to area teachers for innovative in-class projects that otherwise go unfunded.
