Twin City Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. Nonagenarian Celebration
/Twin City Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinctions Incorporated (TLOD) recognized local nonagenarians during its Nonagenarian Celebration on June 15. This year marked the 10th annual celebration. Local President is Roseland Lattier, and the Chairman of the event was Ruth Blackwell. TLOD is recognized for its youth program, Top Teens of America, as well as its national programs, one of which is “Celebrating and Supporting Senior Citizens.” Local citizens were recognized for their many accomplishments to their family and community. This year’s honorees were Louise R. Ivey, Gladys Walker, Doris Matlock Day, Connie Mae Hamilton, Marjorie Nash Kelly and Dorothy Thornton.
