Unity in the Community Back to School Bash 2021
/ Kim McMurryUnity in the Community held its seventh annual Back to School Bash on August 7 at Park Avenue Baptist Church. This year, 450 backpacks filled with school supplies were given out to area youth.
Unity in the Community began in 2014 with a group of local churches. Currently, it is comprised of 20 churches and organizations. The group’s mission was to come together as “one“ for a common goal: to strengthen youth by equipping them with school supplies for the upcoming year.
