Bear Hunts
/Another way people have been spreading positivity during this season is by putting teddy bears in their windows for people to see as they drive by. Mary Lynn Patterson is a first grade teacher in Texarkana who saw this trend on social media and thought it was a great idea. Families were able to get out of the house for a little while and let their kids go on a “bear hunt.”
Mary Lynn said, “Since I can’t be in the classroom, I felt it was a simple way to help kids and their families during this time!” It’s a fun and easy way to support families with young children and allow them to get out of their house, in a safe way.
