Clay's Golf and Guitars 2019
/The Clay Eichler Memorial Fund hosted its fifth annual Clay’s Golf and Guitars on May 18 with a golf scramble taking place at Northridge Country Club. Twenty-eight teams participated in the golf tournament. Dr. Chris Alkire hit a hole-in-one, winning $10,000 which he donated back to the benefit. Out of 500 tickets sold, Dr. Christy Payne won the trip giveaway to either Tuscany, London, Spanish Bay, or Disneyworld. During the evening, approximately 240 people were entertained by The Dancing Dream, an Abba Tribute Band. Over $160,000 was raised by the community to benefit The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Texarkana.
