Heritage, Heart, and Arts hosts “Colors of Life” Reception
/Heritage, Heart, and Arts, a Texarkana nonprofit, recently celebrated the newest downtown mural with a ribbon cutting ceremony and reception on January 15 at the 1894 City Market Art Gallery. The mural is located at 112 Pine Street (behind Graham Slam Bakery) and is part of resident parking for the new City Market Loft Apartments.
Created by artist Joseph Raymond, the mural is unique and stretches 125 feet long. Joseph’s vision for the piece was to create something with lots of color, life and movement which reflects the present day and extends into the future. He calls the piece, “Colors of Life” and hopes that it reminds everyone to enjoy each day and all of the colors of life.
