Women for the Arts hosted the 20th annual Party with Picassos on March 23 at the Texarkana Texas Convention Center. The event featured a celebrity art auction of works by the unlikeliest of artists (“celebrity”) bankers, lawyers, doctors, dentists, educators, entrepreneurs, businessmen and women. These individuals were paired with professional

artists, acting as coaches, to create original works of art.

This year’s signature artist was Mary Jane Orr. Musical entertainment featured 2Pianos, Josh Lawrence and Dr. Paul Whitt. The Mary Jane Orr Awards were presented to Gay Durrant (paired with Sarah and Joel Wright), Jessica Rich (paired with Christina Tate Cook), Tiffany Horton (paired with Sam Reep), Jessica Trichel Smith (paired with McCarley DuBois), and Amy Lawrence (paired with Dr. Paul Whitt).
