Spring International Grand Hunt Test

The 2018 Spring International Grand Hunt Test hosted by the Four States Hunting Retriever Club included over 500 dogs competing through a weeklong series of hunting and retrieving challenges/tests. Ninety-four were considered official Hunt Retriever Grand Champions which is a prestigious title. Co-chairs Glen Scarborough and Kathy Woodruff Lach, along with their committee, did a phenomenal job hosting this event for our region. The area was inundated with the tremendous economic impact of handlers as they came from as far away as Canada, Washington, Maine and Minnesota to participate in this challenge. This event generated over a million dollars to our local economy with proceeds benefitting United Way of Greater Texarkana.
